Shop Nest

Shop Nest is an e-commerce startup, which specialises in curating luxury homeware at affordable prices.

I was approached by the founder and asked to create a visual identity which would not only launch the brand, but that was also able to harbour their future vision of growth as a business into different sectors.

We sat down to determine the brand’s purpose, the audience it intended to target, and how to best position Shop Nest within the online market space. My solution was a warm, retro-inspired brand identity, that welcomed an audience who value their nights in and want to create a cosy living-space without breaking the bank. Standing out from the mainly minimal, contemporary look of the brand’s competition, I also designed the identity system with usability in mind. Knowing the small team wouldn’t have access to a designer day-to-day, the "{curly brackets}" device was created for the small team to use and apply themselves.
